Gabriella Lopez

I grew up in New Mexico and graduated from Las Cruces High School, where my passion for the STEM field began to take shape. I have always been fascinated by how science and technology constantly evolve, and I love the challenge of finding solutions to real-world problems. This passion led me to pursue a bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering.

Currently, I serve as the student administrative assistant in the Physics Department, where I have the opportunity to engage closely with faculty and students, helping to coordinate activities and manage departmental affairs. In addition, I have taken on the role of program coordinator for the PREM initiative, where I help to facilitate programs aimed at broadening participation in physics and materials science research.

Looking ahead, my goal is to find a career in the space industry, where I can apply my knowledge and skills to tackle some of the most complex and exciting challenges. I am driven by a desire to be at the forefront of technological advancement and innovation, and I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.
